HOW TO PLAY

Anyone reads.
The story can turn.

Open the seven-card conversation or choose a chapter. Use an ordinary memory, a preference or an invented example. When a card supplies imaginary friends, use that scene. Nobody needs to be going through a fresh start.

  1. 01

    Anyone reads

Read the card and its guidance aloud. Reading does not make you the first answerer. An ordinary or invented example is enough. Keep private details to yourself and pass whenever you prefer.

  2. 02

    Take turns beginning

For two: one begins and the other responds or gives an answer; swap who starts next time. In a group: a volunteer begins. Round cards invite each person once; a sentence or a pass is enough.

  3. 03

    Follow an interesting detail

Ask a question, offer a different example or let a small answer be enough. A task names its finish; a build invites an idea from each person. Tap Next when you are ready. Pause, change chapters or finish whenever you like.

01 / CHOICES

Decide, then compare

Read both options. Each decide silently first; say your choices together on three. Talk about what drew you to them. No votes are submitted on the phones.

02 / A LITTLE WIT

An episode, a footnote, a line

Title an ordinary day, add a harmless footnote to a flattering photo or translate an elaborate invitation into human language. Each task names its finish. Speak normally; no acting, writing or photograph is needed.

03 / SOMETHING TOGETHER

Add an idea each

Combine opposite habits into a fictional business or two recurring segments into a tiny radio programme. Each offer an idea, then combine the result named on the card. Nothing needs to be made, sent or recorded. Different versions are welcome.

04 / KEEP IT IMAGINARY

A next scene can stay fictional

The comedy can be an ordinary inconvenience or a fictional friend’s latest reinvention. Nobody needs to disclose a difficult change, rank their friends or promise a next step. Pass or change chapters whenever you prefer.

Big enough to read. Small enough to bring.
