HOW TO PLAY

One person reads.
Everyone gets room.

Start with seven selected cards, choose a chapter or draw freely. Most cards ask for a story or a preference. Others invite a tiny design or an imagined scene. Read the card, follow its move, then talk.

  1. 01

    Anyone reads

Read the card and its guidance aloud. Reading does not make you the first answerer. You can use a memory, imagine an answer or pass without explaining.

  2. 02

    Take turns beginning

For two: one begins and the other responds or gives an answer; swap who starts next time. In a group: a volunteer starts. Round cards invite each person once, with the option to pass.

  3. 03

    Follow the interesting part

Ask a follow-up, share a different experience or stay with a story. Tap Next when you are ready. Pause, change chapters or finish without explaining.

01 / CHOICES

Decide, then compare

Read both options. Each decide silently first; say your choices together on three. Talk about what drew you to them. No votes are submitted on the phones.

02 / SMALL EXPERIMENTS

Say it in a sentence

The card gives you a small finish: five words, a line of fine print or one unnecessary step. A volunteer answers; others can offer their version. Reading normally is enough.

03 / IMAGINED DESIGNS

Add an idea each

Offer ideas before deciding what to combine. The card names the result: a day, a shared task or a week. Read or describe it aloud. Two versions are welcome.

04 / DIFFERENT NEEDS

Keep a useful difference

For a shared decision, each propose before discussing. Agree on a possibility or name the disagreement and move on. Different needs can remain different. A game decision is never a real commitment.

Big enough to read. Small enough to bring.

SHARED ROOM / ONE PURCHASE FOR THE GROUP

Same card. Your own phones.

Prefer your own screens? See the same card on each phone. For paid games, one person owns the game and everyone else joins free. Fire is free to host.

    The owner opens a room.

Choose a purchased game in My Library, then select Host a Shared Room.

  2. 02

    Send the guest link.

Friends tap the link or enter the six-character code. No guest account, email or purchase.

  3. 03

    Follow the same card.

The host changes cards. Someone reads aloud; one person begins and others respond. Choice and prediction cards explain when to reveal. Answers happen aloud, not through private voting on the phones.

Each new room has a fresh code and lasts up to eight hours. The host can end it earlier. Your purchased game stays in your Library. Everyone needs internet; Shared Room does not include a video call or record spoken answers.
