THREE ACTUAL CARDS. NO ACCOUNT.

Spot a tool.
Choose a design.
Explain the obvious.

Start with an invention that changed your day. Compare two ways a tool could work. Then explain a spoon to a visitor who has never seen one.

Free to play together. Read aloud; the screen stays between you. There is no correct answer to uncover.

Name a tool that changed the way you move through a normal day.

The First TechnologyAnyone can pass

READ ALOUD · PLAY TOGETHER

Either of you reads aloud. One answers first; the other responds or shares an answer. Swap who starts on the next card.

Anyone can pass. Tap Next when you are ready to move on.

A little more guidance

Read aloud. One person begins; respond to what they say, or share your own answer. For a round, invite each person once. Anyone may pass. Move on when you are ready. The device can stay on the table. Reading does not make you the first answerer.

FIVE CHAPTERS. MANY WAYS IN.

From a small tool
to a larger possibility.

Begin with the seven-card opening, pick a chapter or draw freely from the full edition. These are different territories to explore, not levels you have to complete.

HOW TO PLAY

Think aloud.
Make room for another idea.

Open the seven-card conversation or choose a chapter. Any scene can be imagined. A description is the invention; you do not need materials, a diagram or an expert explanation.

  1. 01

    Anyone reads

Read the card and its guidance aloud. Reading does not make you the first answerer. Use a real memory, an invented example or a pass.

  2. 02

    Take turns beginning

For two: one begins and the other responds or gives an answer; swap who starts next time. In a group: a volunteer starts. Round cards invite each person once, with the option to pass.

  3. 03

    Follow the interesting part

Ask about an idea, offer a different view or stay with a story. Tap Next when you are ready. Pause, change chapters or finish without explaining.

01 / CHOOSE

Decide, then compare

Read both options. Each decide silently first; say your choices together on three. Talk about what drew you to them. No votes are submitted on the phones.

02 / INVENT

Describe the result

Follow the card’s limit: a sentence, a missing label or a question for an imaginary visitor. Someone volunteers; others join as the card invites. Nobody needs to act it out.

03 / BUILD

Add an idea each

Offer ideas before deciding what to combine. The card names the result: a tool, a week or a lesson. Read or describe it aloud. Two versions are welcome.

04 / COMPARE

Keep a useful difference

For a shared decision, each propose before discussing. Agree on a possibility or name the disagreement and move on. Nothing you decide in the game becomes a real commitment.

Big enough to read. Small enough to bring.

SHARED ROOM / ONE PURCHASE FOR THE GROUP

Same card. Your own phones.

Prefer your own screens? See the same card on each phone. For paid games, one person owns the game and everyone else joins free. Fire is free to host.

  1. 01

    The owner opens a room.

Choose a purchased game in My Library, then select Host a Shared Room.

  2. 02

    Send the guest link.

Friends tap the link or enter the six-character code. No guest account, email or purchase.

  3. 03

    Follow the same card.

The host changes cards. Someone reads aloud; one person begins and others respond. Choice and prediction cards explain when to reveal. Answers happen aloud, not through private voting on the phones.

Each new room has a fresh code and lasts up to eight hours. The host can end it earlier. Your purchased game stays in your Library. Everyone needs internet; Shared Room does not include a video call or record spoken answers.
