HOW TO PLAY
Two people.
Clear invitations.
Open the seven-card conversation or a chapter. You need one phone, tablet or laptop, and a little attention for each other.
- 01
Either person reads
Read the card aloud. Reading does not mean answering first. On a question about “the other person”, answer about the person opposite you.
- 02
Take turns starting
One answers; the other responds or gives their answer. Swap who starts on the next question. Making something together? Follow the roles on that card.
- 03
Stay for the conversation
Press Next when you are both ready. Pass, pause or finish without explaining. No score, finish line or promise to make.
Notice & tell
An expression, a habit or a small shared moment. Take turns answering; respond to the other person rather than rushing to the next card.
Invent together
A business card for your imaginary duo. A picnic made from two ideas. Each task gives you a clear finish; nothing needs performing or recording.
Both choose
Read both options. Each decide silently, then say your answers together on three. Compare what drew you to them.
One chooses. One guesses.
Choose who is being guessed about. They decide silently first; the other says a guess. Then the chooser reveals. Swap roles next time. No points.
One screen is enough. Your own phones work too.
Name a small expression you have noticed on the other person’s face today.
Read aloud. One begins; others respond. No phone passing or answer taps. Choices, guesses and stories happen aloud; spoken answers are not recorded. An imaginary setting or described action is enough.
SHARED ROOM / ONE PURCHASE FOR BOTH
Same card. Your own phones.
Prefer your own screens? One of you owns the game; the other joins free. See the same card on both phones while you talk.
- 01
The owner opens a room.
Choose a purchased game in My Library, then select Host a Shared Room.
- 02
Send the guest link.
Send the other person the guest link or six-character code. No guest account, email or purchase.
- 03
Follow the same card.
The host changes cards when you are both ready. Talk aloud. For a prediction, the chooser decides silently, the other guesses, then the chooser reveals. No answers are submitted on the phones.
Each new room has a fresh code and lasts up to eight hours. The host can end it earlier. Your purchased game stays in your Library. Everyone needs internet; Shared Room does not include a video call or record spoken answers.
